Whew this one is out of the way! My dad and I started down Route 50, turned one road too soon and had to go back and find the right one. Got to the island (Wye Island) where this cache is on. The whole place is a state park/nature preserve and it filled with birds. (I thought I was in that Alfred Hitchcock movie for a minute there). Swarms of em, everywhere. Thank goodness we didn't get "a special delivery" from above on our heads :)

We missed the clue marker in the cache page. So we walked about 5 miles more than we needed to. Sill it was a good walk, going near the shoreline. Once we got in the area I took a few photos and then we looked for the cache.

The GPS said 15 ft. accuracy and 0 ft. to the cache. I looked at the clues and then went about 15 ft. away and then inward, "lawn mowing" the area looking for any sign of the cache. I tromped through brambles, vines, and more brambles. Saw many footpaths, and followed them around for a bit but didn't find the cache.

The spot right against the shoreline is great. It's right on the bay. I'll go back looking for this one soon (maybe as soon as next week).
